miniPID Dispersion Sensor

The 200B miniPID photo-ionization detector combines small size, fast response, and high sensitivity in an easy-to-use, competitively priced package. The miniPID has been designed to provide high frequency concentration measurements for plume tracking both in wind tunnels and in the atmosphere.

digitalPID Dispersion Sensor

The digitalPID (digital Photo-Ionization Detector) sensor is used to record concentration fluctuations of the dispersing gas as it passes by the sensor location.  The sensors can be combined to form a grid of detectors that are ideally suited to large outdoor tests that require the sensors to be synchronized in time and controlled from a single location.

Microseismic Data Logger

The 500A Microseismic Data Logger (MDL) system provides real-time monitoring of microseismic events within a mine. Low-noise signals are ensured by the use of a preamplifier and balanced line driver circuit in each transmitter. Sensors can be located up to 3 kilometers from the MDL (distance can be extended to 7 km if repeaters are installed).

Ground Penetrating Radar

The 550A ground penetrating radar data logger was designed to provide real-time monitoring of stratigraphic roof and floor clay layers in potash mines. The GPR PC is located in the cab of a mining machine to provide the operator with a real-time display.  Two Noggin GPR units are located on the mining machine, one in contact with the roof and the other in contact with the floor.  A distance wheel is also required to provide a measurement of linear distance traveled.
