The Aurora Scientific sales team is growing to better meet the needs of our researchers, and we are very excited to announce the arrival of our newest European Product Manager, Daniele Borges. Here is a little bit about her . . .
“I graduated with an Honours Degree in Veterinary Medicine (2014) at Anhanguera University and a Master Degree in Feline Medicine (2016) at University Federal Fluminense, both in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. During my academic life, I was a monitor in Biochemistry and Pathology and I had the opportunity to work in a haematology lab and run experiments to write my thesis on Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD), which was one of the first regarding this subject in Brazil.
After finishing my master’s, I began working as a sales representative for a veterinary company, and I fell in love. I came to Ireland to improve my English and attended a business and finance course to learn more about business operations. I’ve been working in sales for the last eight years and I am now joining Aurora to bring my scientific knowledge and sales experience together to help scientists achieve their goals with Aurora Scientific equipment.
My interests include cooking, playing video games, and reading. I have had a passion for food since I was very young, and during veterinary school, I graduated as a chef at the Gastronomy School in 2015. My favourite food style is traditional Brazilian food.”
