It has been nearly 3 years since we opened our European branch office in Dublin, improving the level of service on the continent. The face of our European office and a big part of our continued success there, Dr Kieran Clarke, has moved on to new opportunities outside of scientific research instrumentation.
It is our great pleasure, therefore, to introduce the new face of our European office, Dr. Patrick Kelly. Patrick recently completed his Ph.D. in Immunology at Trinity College Dublin and has an in-depth understanding of the academic research and the needs of life science researchers. With this background, we expect he will have the tools to provide a very high level of service and support for our valued clients in Europe.

More recently we have opened a new branch office in Hong Kong, to better serve the Asia-Pacific market (you can read more about it here). We are very pleased to welcome Mr. Ken Wong as the newest member of our ASI team and the ‘go to’ person for clients in the far east. Ken is a recent graduate of applied chemistry from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and he brings with him a youthful enthusiasm and drive.
Patrick and Ken recently travelled to our head office in Canada for a week of training on our products, systems and procedures. During long days they worked hard to get up to speed on all things Aurora and demonstrated an incredible ability to rise to the challenges put before them. A lot of ground was covered that week but we still found time for a bit of fun, sightseeing and even a baseball game.
