Our sales team is growing to better meet the needs of our researchers, and we are very excited to announce the arrival of our newest Product Consultant, Stephanie Peragine. Stephanie graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology (2016) at Western University and Master of Science in Molecular Biology & Genetics (2018) at McMaster University. She worked on several microbiological research projects including characterizing protein expression in breast cancer cells, elucidating telomere dysfunction, and analyzing the molecular response to hypoxia-induced cellular quiescence.
She went on to complete her teaching certification in England, UK. She enjoyed teaching science in the UK as well as visiting several countries across Europe. After spending three years abroad, she moved back to Canada. Looking to utilize her scientific and teaching expertise, she applied for the Product Consultant role at Aurora Scientific. She is excited to support scientists in achieving their research goals and to learn about their scientific studies.
Stephanie’s interests include playing volleyball and soccer. Having played soccer for over 15 years, she also follows Premier League football. She has completed two half-marathons and it is her goal to run a full marathon.
